What's that?! A board plot?! Already? Yes! Already! Only three characters in, and already there's a board plot. Read up on it below, and don't feel obliged to join, but if you do, give me a few days to let you all know just how you can play a part! If you're interested in this plot, post below. If not enough people show interest, this plot may fade away, and a new one will pop up in its place.
You would have to be as thick as a block of lead not to have heard of DRIFT radio. Everyone in Afterglow knows about this radio, but no one seems to have any idea just who this mysterious disk jockey, DRIFT, is. Tune into 72.5 FM and you might just be lucky enough to be tuning in at the same time as GLOW, the only program that this pirate radio features as of now. Unfortunately, the time for GLOW's air times never seems set in stone, and with Afterglow Investigators almost always looking to find a way to pinpoint where the program is being broadcast from, the recordings stop repeating themselves after about four hours.
The only thing that both the criminals in The Outerlands, and the investigators of Afterglow seems to know are what they can gather from listening to the program itself. It looks to a be a woman, young, and with a hoarse voice, the sort that would seem to welcome you to an unsuspecting talk show about specific interests.
And specific interests they are indeed. You see, DRIFT is one of those information givers that seems spectacularly neutral, hoping to get information out to everyone in Afterglow County, good and bad, honest and false, so that the truth can reach all ears. And it seems that this sort of truth only comes from a watchful eye who either has a wide web of sources, or has the ability to travel to important scenes of public interest and gather information without being gathered up herself.
The troubling matter, for both The Outerlands community and The Afterglow Investigators, is that DRIFT knows too much about both of them, and shows no restraint when reporting these truths to the public. Reporting blunders and threatening actions alike are recorded on GLOW, a program that runs anywhere from 15 minutes, to two hours depending on how much activity has progressed in the time since GLOW's last airing.
The point is, Afterglow County wants a face to the name, because this sort of fame is menacing with its power, and it seems like both sides are ready to shut it down.

Well... if someone's going to just be airing Elijah's dirty laundry, don't expect him to just sit there. Bitches gotta get ganked.
